Touring the Penedes with Enric was a wonderful experience. Our ride to the vineyards was great with lots of information & history of where we were driving through. Our 1st vineyard was Gramona and the tour was amazing and very private- tasted some impeccable Cava as well as white's. Next we went to a totally different experience at Can Bas vineyard. There we saw the vineyards, a chapel on the property, then enjoyed a tasting with lunch. It was such a great experience and I'd recommend doing a tour with Enric to everyone I know visiting Barcelona!

We were picked up at our hotel in a new Lexus with a pleasant 25 minutes drive to the first vineyard. The private tour and tasting was as much an experience as it was informative. We did a visit to Priorat with Enrico Catala. The experience was just terrific. Enrico is very knowledgeable and made the wine tasting a very unique event. We visited two wineries in Priorat ; MarcoAbella and Clos Figueres, both vists were fantastic, personable and very enjoyable. I strongly recommend this wine tour company. He collected our family from our hotel in Barcelona and drove us to Jean Leon and Can Bas in the Penedes region. They were a nice choice as they were quite different but both awesome vineyards. We did an all day private tasting tour with Enric to the Priorat region a little over a week ago and it was FANTASTIC! My husband and I have done many winery tours in various places (4 countries) and so we let Enric know that we were more interested in tasting than touring the venues so he adjusted the schedule to visit three wineries instead of two and skip most of the touring bits. What was so cool about this tour was that we got to go to three totally different wineries and taste several different wines all from the same small region. We saw a mid-size winery, a very old and big winery, and then a very small "garage/family" winery. Enric was so knowledgeable about the region, the wineries, and the wine and shared his knowledge in a way that wasn't overwhelming or pretentious. It was honestly our favorite wine tour thus far and our favorite part of our trip to Barcelona. Gracies Enric!

An excellent day with Enric on a private tour to the Penedes wine region. A professional and knowledgeable guide who showed us some of the best. We started at Mont Rubi with its spectacular views and interesting wines including a delicious dessert wine. Then on to Recaredo which included an informative tour, a disgorgement demonstration and of course a tasting. Then we finished at the beautiful Can Bas with a tasting that included lunch. Enric was extremely professional and personal. We have done quite a bit of wine tasting in various regions of California, Chile and Greece. We were delightfully surprised at what an amazing experience we had with Tacadevi. We generally do something more along the line of a picnic/lunch en route to the next winery. However, this trip included two of the most amazing meals we had on our entire journey from the Amalfi coast and various ports in the Mediterranean. Absolutely splendid lunches. The wineries were first rate and were so gracious and hospitable. Enric's knowledge of the various areas in Spain and other countries was impressive. Our goal was to walk away with a good understanding of Spanish wine regions, grapes and production.. We are now much more confident navigating Spanish wines at the store or on a restaurant wine list. Thoroughly worth every penny.

Booked the Pendes 3 winery tour in May and it was definitely the highlight of my trip. Enric was an excellent host and all of the wineries he selected were great - Can Bas was definitely my favorite! Enric hosted a group of my colleagues for a day of wine tasting in May which was absolutely fantastic! He took us to two excellent wineries and coordinated a 4x4 tour of one of them followed by a delicious lunch. We cannot recommend this wine tasting and tour experience enough! The entire day exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, to the moment he dropped us off, we enjoyed informative explanations about vineyards, wine production, storage, and more; delightful wineries and beautify scenery; delicious wines and perfectly paired and personalized treats, and a comfortable ride to get there. Lunch was not only delicious and plentiful, but the setting was so special! With all of that, the most special part of the day was the 4x4 tour ... we can unequivocally and enthusiastically recommend this tour in particular! The large jeep took us right up the mountain, where we could witness for ourselves the extra special vines growing right through rock on the side of the mountain. With a beautiful view and standing among these vines, we had our first tasting along with the winemaker himself. Enric curates a truly extraordinary wine tasting and winery tour ... attention to every detail, a perfect combination of experiences, and our senses heightened and happy. He's a gem and this is a must-do when visiting Barcelona!

From our first interaction, even prior to booking the tour, Enric was very helpful. I wanted a tour with just my wife and I through specific wineries I had researched in the Cava region of Penedes. Enric's personal relationships opened doors into these wineries--including the renowned Recaredo--and provided us with amazing tasting opportunities (even meeting the owner's family) that I would have never been able to book myself. When one of my requests (Jean Leon) was unavailable, like any good sommelier, Enric was able to suggest a very suitable (perhaps better?) alternative in Can Bas. Can Bas is a small but very high quality producer-- we were very lucky to taste while witnessing the harvest. At the end, we were also able to talk to the owner who lives on the vineyard property. Enric was incredibly professional-- picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel; arranging dining plans in Penedes, etc. In the end, what truly draws me to the global wine community are relationships and friendships I make with people like Enric. I highly recommend his services if you need a guide through Penedes or Priorat. We had a blast 🙂

What a day!We booked a Penedès Cava&Wine tour at Taca de vi for our family (2 couples) and our guide and sommelier Enric picked us up at hour hotel in the morning. After a comfortable ride with many information about the region we visited a local Cava producer in a marvellous little village amongst the wineyards and after that the absolut extraordinary and elegant Winery of a renowned Wine and Cava producer. At both locations we had very professional and informative tours through the cellars guided by local staff and Enric, followed by tastings of their Cavas and wines accompanied by some local food.All was very beautiful arranged, absolute relaxing, without any rush.At the end of the tour we had a tasting at the halls of the major wine producer of that region.Enric handled the entire tour absolut professionell and with his knowledge of wine he could answer every question....Thanks again for that marvellous day!

Enric was amazing! The day was perfectly planned, starting with 2 wineries followed by lunch. The wineries were JeanLeon and Can Bas. We spent the perfect amount of time at each tasing a variety of wines and cava. Enric then took us to an amazing resturant for lunch, where he brought his own bottle of Rioja for us to share. This tour was a great way to understand the history of the region, to try grape varietals that are often hard to find in the USA and taste styles ranging from classic to hippie. My husband and I had a wonderful day with Enric during our time in Spain. Enric picked us up from our hotel in Barcelona and provided us a wealth of information about the history of Spanish wine and specifically the penedès region of wine production as he drove us to two wineries in the penedès region. Enric set us up with two private tours that both included tastings and the second tour included lunch in addition. The wine, food pairings, conversation, and opportunity to meet the family behind the wineries were all a delight and truly a highlight of our vacation. Would highly recommend!

I booked a private wine tour for my husbands birthday . Enric was professional, very knowledgeable and super friendly . He took us to two wine farms , one if which had lunch included. It was a fantastic day and we really enjoyed every minute of it . If you are looking for a special experience in Barcelona, I can highly recommend this tour.

La experiencia de cata online con Enric fue super buena.La cata era para un grupo de unas 8-10 personas del trabajo y todo el mundo quedo encantado.Los vinos que eligió Enric eran muy especiales y su manera de contarlos y explicar su procedencia demuestra que le encanta lo que hace.Además Enric, organiza unos kahoots con preguntas sobre cada vino que hacen la cata online mucho más amena y los ganadores de los mismos reciben un premio (lo cual lo hace aún más entretenido)Además de la buena experiencia, la gestión del envio y demás fue super buena: contratamos la cata con bastante poca antelacion (un lunes para el jueves) y todo llego (incluso a portugal) a tiempo y perfecto.Enhorabuena a Enric por su trabajo!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience with Enric as our sommelier. Got to see some beautiful landscapes, learn about the vineyards in Porrera, and taste some great wines. Would 100% go again if we are back in Spain.
