Superb Penedes wine tour with Enric. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Spanish wines and engaging. The three wineries we visited all offered a broad selection of white, red and cava, including some grapes that are a bit unusual but delicious. Our hosts at each of the wineries were enthusiastic and welcoming. The so-called "light lunch" at the last winery was substantial and delicious. Highly recommended.

The itinerary was well planned to highlight the challenging viniculture and the approaches that several winemakers are taking to get the best from these grapes. We learned a lot and had a great time. He provided excellent information on the history of the region, background on the winemakers and vineyards as well as details of each of the wines and cavas we tasted. I booked a private tour with Enric for myself and my two cousins. We had the most excellent day with Enric. He brought us to some amazing wineries, guided us through tastings and was just the most pleasant, professional, friendly, knowledgeable guy to spend the day with. This was the most high-end, exclusive wine tour we have been on. We were first met by Emma, a sommelier who is not only extremely knowledgeable about the wine in the region, but has an amazing personality that makes the tour even more special. Emma was so great that we booked a separate tour with her later in the week.We then visited three different vineyards -- each unique in their approach to winemaking. The vineyards selected highlight the range of the excellent wine in the region. The visits feel very exclusive and you have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the winemaking process. The lunch at the last vineyard was high-quality and exactly what we needed to cap off a really special day -- definitely a highlight of our trip to Barcelona.
