Since we started our own way 4 years ago, Taca de vi has specialized in organizing tastings for corporate events (incentives, networkings, receptions, workshops, conventions, etc) and private groups (family parties, food pairings, as a gift, etc). In the beginning our goal was just focused on the classic tastings with different wines but we moved forward and nowadays we still offer the classic tasting but always accompanied with something more and also in different formats. In this way, we also provide ham cutter, cheeses selection, personalized chocolates, live music or sensory experience, in order to add value to our services.

Some months ago we started receiving enquires asking for wine tours around Barcelona. We do know all the wine producing areas around Barcelona and most of their wineries and owners. In this way we thought, why not? and we decided to incorporate this service in our catalog.
Catalonia has 12 appellation d’origine, some of them “far” from Barcelona, so we are focused on those appellations located less than 1 hour away from the city. The main one due to its dimensions, number of cellars, range of varieties and types of wines, is the Penedès region. This historic area, just 30 minutes away from Barcelona, offers different styles of wines (such as Xarel·lo, Chardonnay, Grenache or Sumoll) and is also renowned for the cava production (the famous Catalan sparkling wine).
The tours are always private and designed and personalized according to the customer needs and timing. In this way, the price includes 2 private visits to different wineries (tour+tasting) and may also include a traditional regional lunch in a restaurant.
We pick up and drop off the customers in their hotel/apartment.
