Wine is obviously part of the Catalan gastronomy and Taca de vi is willing to show it to you by organizing private wine tastings while your stay inTasting wines in Barcelona for private groups Barcelona.
Taca de vi is a small company lead by the sommelier Enric Català which his main aim is to share all his wine knowledge with people visiting Barcelona in order to introduce Catalan wines to those who would love to taste them.

The wines tasting take place in wine shops in the center of the city so people could buy a bottle of that wine they liked the most.

5 different wines are tasted (they can be paired with tapas) and either you are a couple or a bigger group, we organize the perfecte session for you.

wine tasting barcelona - enric catala sommelierThe tasting lasts 1:30h aprox and it starts with a “Smell and Guess” contest that people have to guess which aromas they are smelling. The aim is to practice the aromatic memory that will help to discover the aromas of the wines.

During the tasting the sommelier will explain about the Catalan regions, grape varieties, cellar stories, tasting techniques and helpful information about wine culture.
