After months of preparation, finally for the last fair in Barcelona for the Mobile World Congress 2014, Taca de vi conducted one of the most important events of the year. Aiming to bring customers more relaxed and informal way, the multinational EXFO, a telecommunications company in Quebec, organizing a networking meeting of two evenings, at its booth at the fair. To liven up the meeting, the company contracted with Taca de vi to organize a food tasting to accompany the act and to give the point of good taste that the occasion demanded. The idea was to offer a good selection of different Catalan and Spanish wines, cheeses and ham cut in situ, which, carefree and somewhat ceremonial way, foster a good atmosphere for clients and friends of the company to feel comfortable and facilitate relations between them. Attending the event exceeded initial expectations and finally about 350 people over the two days were counted. A success that neither the same company expected, is that the forecast was for about 140 people. In total about 75 bottles of wine, 13 kilos of cheese, served over 400 cups and 2 were consumed Iberian hams. Some numbers that reflect the scope of the act and what Taca de vi is able to offer. The selection of products was to be the best in the country, just as they liked to everyone. Here, finally 3 red wines, one white wine, 3 artisan cheeses and ham in Salamanca offered: – Salanques 2010 (DOQ Priorat) – Aalto 2011 (DO Ribera del Duero) – Wines Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva 2005 (DOC Rioja) – Do Ferreiro Cepas Vellas 2011 (Rías Baixas) Cheese – Castellot (Cow / Alt Urgell) – Montbrú Garrotxa (Goat / Moianès) – Pico Melero (Sheep / Valladolid) Both Taca de vi as EXFO agree that it has been a very positive experience and we now have to analyze whether it has met the initial objective: to retain customers and attract new ones.
