Taca de vi is a labour of love started by two young enthusiasts from Barcelona that share an unbridled passion for goodwine
A sommelier by profession, Enric’s mission is to demystify the world of wine and bring it into people’s lives for them to enjoy without fear.
Like so many sommeliers before him, Enric’s relationship with wine began while working in a London restaurant. That was years ago. At the time, all he knew about wine was what it smelt like wine, what else? Long story short, with patience and a tremendous ability to teach, the head sommelier from the restaurant and the great wine atmosphere she inspired, hooked the young waiter to this culture and never left it since then.
Now back in Barcelona, Enric dedicates himself to tasting hundreds of wines, visiting wineries, reading books, blogs, attending tastings, sniffing everything and annoying everyone with questions. Wine creates nonconformity, no one ever knows enough!
The three decisive steps that sealed his sommelier fate, were his time at Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm, Vila Viniteca and, finally, studying for his Sommelier qualifiaction. Three opportunities to learn and communicate: Enric took the best of each case, he swirled it well and came away with Taca de vi in 2011.

Isabel is a construction engineer by profession dedicated to buildings rehabilitation, energy efficiency and sustainable construction. She stumbled into the world of wine almost by accident. That said, Taca de vi owes its existence to her fervent interest in everything wine culture hides, her ability to absorb the right skills and information and her unwavering dedication to the experience Taca de vi affords its customers.
